UNITED KINGDOM: Emerald Kalama Chemical has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Innospec Widnes Limited, a manufacturer of aroma chemicals at its location in Widnes, UK. The Innospec Widnes business will become part of the Emerald Kalama Chemical flavor and fragrance business. “With the acquisition, we are taking a significant step to expand our footprint, global reach and service to customers in the flavor and fragrance industry,” said Peter M. Fielder, vice president of Emerald Kalama Chemical’s flavor and fragrance product line.
